The California School for the Deaf, Riverside, will host the 16th Berg/Seeger Track & Field Classic on Saturday, April 11, 2026—the first time Riverside has welcomed this event.
The competition will be held at Martin Luther King High School in Riverside on an 8-lane, 400-meter orange rubberized track, featuring two jumping sand pits and dedicated areas for shot put and discus.
This classic is open to all Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing high school athletes in the United States, including those from both schools for the Deaf and mainstream programs. Eligible participants must be in grades 9–12; students in grades 6–8 and fifth-year seniors are not permitted to compete.
The purpose of the Berg/Seeger Classic is to promote interest and excellence in track and field among Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing high school athletes.
