Valencia was the leader of CSDR’s offense with 27 points, including 11 during the second period. He also contributed nine rebounds, 10 steals, 10 assists and one block. He was one shy of quadruple – double. (only if he has 10 rebounds)
Alan Alcocer sank three three-pointers and scored 17 points total. Two other players also scored in the double digits for CSDR, including Mavrick Fisher with 12 points. Also helping the effort for CSDR were Christian Jacobs (8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block), Ermias Thomas (7 points, 3 rebounds), Desean Welch (6 points, 8 rebounds,), Jacob Weiss (5 points, 1 rebound, 2 steals) and Adonis Tauvalaau (4 points).
“I was little disappointed in our boys’ defense tonight; however we won with our offense. We need to do better on defense when we play against Hamilton. We know that it will be a tough game especially playing on their home court. We will play against three teams (fans, team, and officials)” stated Coach Hamilton.
