CSDR jumped out to a big lead with a 7-0 run. At the end of the first quarter, CSDR led the game 17-9. After that CSDR ended the first half 33-21 on the heels of a 10-4 run.
CSDR cemented their lead in the third quarter, scoring 21 points. CSDR finished the game with 47 rebounds (18 offensive/29 defensive), three blocks and 12 steals. CSDR won 74-39 against Boys Republic on Monday with the help of Noah Valencia, who scored 42 points.
Also helping the effort for CSDR were Christian Jacobs (9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block), Nathaniel Humpal (8 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block), Mavrick Fisher (8 points, 9 rebounds) and Desean Welch (7 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block).
“It was a flat win tonight; however, we won big this year because we lost to Boys Republic 93-67 last year. It was a nice payback from last year. Right now we need to focus on today’s game vs. Redlands Christian and aim for 3rd straight win,” stated Coach Hamilton
