Here is the exciting results of this week!
Boys’ record: 5-0!
The Riverside Boys won versus Marlton School for the Deaf. 46-31
The boys were victorious against Marlton School for the Deaf, 46-31 on Thursday with the help of Nathaniel Humpal, who scored 15 points. With a 21-point first quarter, the boys claimed an early lead and held on to top Marlton School for the Deaf 28-16 by halftime. Nathaniel sunk the most baskets during the first period, earning 10 points. Two other players also scored in double digits. Jacob Weiss scored 13 points and Adonis Tauvaalau contributed 11 points. Also contributing were Elijah Andrade (3 points and 1 rebound), Dylan Duarte (2 points and 4 rebounds) and Connley Jones (2 points and 4 rebounds). Adonis was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up 12 rebounds, three steals and two blocks. The boys finished the game with 46 rebounds (15 offensive/31 defensive), three blocks and nine steals.
Girls’ record: 5-1!
The Riverside Girls won versus Baptist Christian, 27-26 – Hot game!
Maricela led the charge for the CSD Riverside’s offense, scoring 9 points, with 5 rebounds. She also contributed 6 steals. Also contributing for the CSD Riverside were Jahaidia Brown-Love (7 points), Janae Blakey (4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals), jande Mixon (4 points and 4 rebounds)
The Riverside Girls won versus Marlton School for the Deaf. 26-10!
