Derek is a senior and has maintained a 3.00 GPA and has shown major improvement from last season. During the last 6 games, he has proven himself as an “All-Around Player” while playing 3 different positions, Guard, Forward and Center. CSDR Boys Basketball is having its best start since December 2005 with 5 wins and 2 losses. Derek leads the team with 12.8 points per game (total of 77 points), 6.3 rebounds per game (total of 38 rebounds) and leads with a total of 18 steals. He had his career high with 20 points against Calvary Chapel Moreno Valley. Derek is well deserving of the Student of the Month Recognition. Please join me in congratulating Derek Keels.
