CSDR is likely secured 3rd place finish in Arrowhead League after beating LA Sierra last night with a score of 57 – 49. Our solid defense and rebounding are the key to our victory. Noah Valencia led the team with 30 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Nathaniel Humpal chipped in 8 points and 7 rebounds. Jacob Weiss had 6 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds. We had 42 team rebounds (10 more rebounds than the opponent). Everyone on the team contributed in many different ways to help us win and that is a teamwork effort. Please take the time to applaud the boys for their outstanding performance.
We need two more wins to tie the school record for the most wins in the school history. If we win the next two games, Coach Valencia will have to shave off his hair (He was a member of the team that won 15 games back in 1999). We will play at California Lutheran tonight and Riverside Christian at home this Thursday.
League Record 8 – 4
Season Record 13 – 10
