David Hamilton in the news

http://deafdigest.com/davidhamilton/

a well-written story on David Hamilton’s days at Kentucky
School for the Deaf. He played a season of NCAA-I ball at
Southern Illinois University, and then a season at Pierce
College before transferring to Gallaudet to play out his
two remaining collegiate seasons. At Gallaudet, he personally
transformed a team that was 1-19 in the previous season and
got off to a terrible 1-8 start before getting hot and ending
the season with a winning 15-12 record !  He was a punter with
the football team one season and holds the record for the
longest punt in history – a 80 yard punt against Georgetown
University.

In the opinion of DeafDigest Sports editor, David ranks as
one of the two greatest Gallaudet men’s basketball players
ever. The other great one was Kevin Milligan. Cannot compare
Hamilton with Milligan because they both played in two
different eras.

He is currently the athletic director at Riverside.
