We came prepared with their strong wildcat offense and our defense played very well and stopped their wildcat offense. It was our senior night and we had five seniors on our team. They felt that they have to win at home because the last time we won a home game was in 2013. They scored quickly and led 6-0 in halftime. We went to the red zone twice and didn’t make the score before halftime. We had to change our game plan little bit and told players, “It’s your last 24 minutes of the season. We have to play harder and push harder, think of the five seniors we have on our team.” We opened with the ball and we moved very well but it was not enough. Our defense did very well and stopped their wildcat offense. We got he ball back and we moved very well. We decided to change the plays little bit and they bought it!

Elijah Watters did a nice pass to Jacob Weiss and Jacob ran for TD, the score was 6-6. Long battle between us until end of the 4th quarter, we had the ball for the next last six minutes and it was 4th and 5 near 50 yards line, I decided to go for it and told Elijah to keep the ball and go to right side. He did it and ran for 40 yards! That was our turnaround point! Inside the red zone, we finally scored and made 2 points as well. We led 14-6 but the game was not over.  Our defense had a big job to do to stop their wildcat offense and fought throughout the game. We did that and we stopped them inside the red zone! It was the most tense moment I ever felt in my life! It was one of the best games I ever coached. I will never forget the game. The most important moment is that we ended the season with the winning attitude and we won last two games and our league standing is 2-2. We are the winners.
