Middle School Football Update:CSD Riverside traveled to Desert Christian Academy last night.

At the end of the first quarter – we were tied 6-6. At halftime, CSDR was down 28-6 due to turnovers.
During the 2nd half, CSDR was determined not to make any more mistakes. CSDR showed improvement and played better. Zane Hencker and Desi Gonzales, Jr recovered fumbled balls. Cole Burton punted 49 yards! Desi Gonzales, Jr made all the touchdowns.
In the closing seconds CSDR tried to get one more touchdown but didn’t have a chance because the clock showed zero! CSDR lost the game by the score of 48-22.
“Our offense was in the red zone about 4 times and could not finish the job. CSDR had only 8 players on the field. They played their hearts out! Keep on fighting, Cubs,” stated Coach Andrews.
CSDR will host a game against Bloomington Christian on September 24.
