The 2008 football season will be an exciting one. We are loaded with young and restless players who have the desire to win. The spread offense that we installed will be sure to draw fans to the game but the defensive schemes will be what will win us games. We will kick off our season against Boron on September 12th. We will play our first home game against the Texas School for the Deaf on September 20th. This year we face five teams who made the playoffs last year and represent a big challenge for us. The backfield will be led by quarterbacks, Galvin Drake and Josh Collins. We have a “thunder and lighting” tandem in Ryan Baldiviez and Luis Estrella. The field will be also be occupied by our all-round players in Chris Vegas, Jonathan Solano and Juan Salazar. Even with our awesome backfield, we will never be able to do anything without our linemen. The linemen will be lead by our seniors, Hugo Villegas, Yovannie Marquez, and Richard Ianculu. We also have a fine group of young linemen in Kyle McDonald, Jason Katz, Anthony McDonald and Kevin Wnek. With that being said, I wouldn’t be able to do everything by myself. This year’s coaching staff features a very knowledgeable and experienced group. From Tucson, Arizona, Rantz Teeters will be our defensive coordinator and running backs coach. Joshua Foronda who hails from Lake Elsinore will be our wide receivers and defensive backs coach. Dennis Cruz who graduated from CSDR and Bobby Polstra from Indianapolis, Indiana will be our offensive and defensive linemen coaches. Please come to our games and show your support for the football team!
