Hello everyone!

I want to share the recent exciting accomplishment in Riverside Athletics with you and to please take the time to recognize our Student-Athletes and our Coaching staff for their excellent performance and sportsmanship. The Varsity Girls Track & Field team has been selected the Deaf National Champions for the third time in a row for the last three years (2005, 2006 and 2007).

The Riverside Girls Track & Field team earned 91.3 points in all meets considered and Louisiana School for the Deaf Girls Track & Field team came in 2nd place with nearly half points less of our earned points! 30 Deaf schools with Girls Track & Field program were competing for the National Champions. It’s a big honor for the team to win the championship.

There is a fifty (50!) pages PDF attachment of final 2007 Prep Boys/girls results. You may view the listing at:

On the behalf of the California School for the Deaf, Riverside community, we want to thank you for representing Riverside so well! We are very proud of you guys. We would like to thank the USA Deaf Track & Field and Hawk Relay for their sponsorship.

Let’s celebrate our outstanding accomplishments thus far!

Who’s next?!?!

Go Cubs!
